An IPTV subscription is access to a server, for a fixed period. You pay once, you receive a set of login details, and you enter those into a player app on a device you already own. The app pulls a channel list and a TV guide from the server, and the picture arrives over your normal internet connection.

One subscription covers one screen at a time by default. If two people want to watch different things at once, you add a second device when you order — each extra device adds 50% to the plan price.

Our plans are one-time payments for the term, for one device:

The line-up is identical on every plan — the term changes the price, never what you get. The longer terms are cheaper per month because a year of capacity bought up front costs us less than twelve separate months.

How it compares with cable and streaming apps

The honest comparison is not IPTV against one streaming app. It is IPTV against the stack most American households actually pay for: a cable or satellite package for live sport and news, plus three or four streaming subscriptions for the shows.
